hello
please i am try to find if i want to live in singapore
frist iam from kuwait age 48 ratired..., from radio and t.v ,
wife from srilanka no kids .......
my ratired salry is 3000 singapore doller .can i live in singapore
and what kind of visa do i get and do i have to work in singapore me or my wife ..and do i have to have bank account i main to have some money.
thank you

if there is any thing more to know sayit

I don't think Singapore is very supportive of the retirement thing... next door Malaysia is cheaper to live in and they have a fairly flexible "silver hair" (or some equally bizarre name) retirement visa system.

Are you looking to WORK or RETIRE here? If you mean retire, then presumably you have the funds to do so for the rest of your life, without working? (unless you want to, not NEED to?)

As JP said, singapore is not cheap and actually neither is Malaysia..esp if you want to live in KL. Maybe the smaller towns. like Penang, etc.

Wouldnt Sri Lanka be a better choice, it certainly would be a lot cheaper than Malaysia!
