hello everyone

just wanted to check that as a UK national and passport holder I do not need a visa to visit Singapore for two days or so and also a Thai national does not need a visa

no need for visa for UK passport holder but not 100% on the thai passport holder.

From there you can get a link to the ICA.
The following lists countries whose passport holder must obtain a visa:
