Kota Kinabalu

Hi,

Can any recommend a hotel near to the airport in Kota Kinabalu? As close as possible as its only a lay over stay.

The whole town centre isn't but 10-15 minutes from the airport.

We've stayed at the the Le Meridien and it is quite acceptable. Sutera Harbour is closer to the airport, lovely golf course, too. Haven't stayed there, though.

Curious, why are you traveling through KK and not checking it out? Lovely little place, the mountain is magic. Good luck!

I worked in KK many years ago, as well as Miri & Labuan. (circa 1992-94 I believe) Miri didn't do much but KK was okay. I like the main drive going in "Jalan Mat Saleh"

Loved Labaun though.

Thanks folks. Im on a tight schedule with business so no time to check out KK. Arrive there at 7pm and have to take a flight to Labuan at 7am the next morning...

I will check out these hotels. Looking forward to Labuan!
