Registration as a Dentist

Hello Singapore,

Maybe some of you might be able to help me. My girlfriend and myself are moving to Singapore in June.
She is a dentist (German) with a general dentistry and specialty services permission to work all over Europe and we have the problem that we can not get a reliable answer from Singapore.
She studied at Germany and was for a term in the USA to study there as well. (University of Pennsylvania)
We could not get hold of any European dentist who can advice us to receive the dental registration in Singapore.
Does she need first of all an offer of application from a dentist or does she need first the registration of the Singapore Dental Council?
Does anyone share the same problem and can help? Or is there any dentist out there looking for a dentist from Germany for two years?

Any hints are highly designated.

hi sven!

I´m not a dentist but a veterinarian from germany and had the same problem. most employers wanna know first whether you´d get a working permission in singapore. for this permission the degree must be fully accepted. Therefor I wrote an email to Dr. Su Hua LEOW email: [email protected] . On the HP of the government you can find an application form for the working license. for the license different documents must be translated so it could last several weeks. Dr. Leow can already tell you, whether there will be a problem with the registration or not. After the OK I startet to look for a job.
