MMA/UFC viewing

Post by grettir » Tue, 29 Apr 2008 6:58 am

Hi I am considering moving to Singapore and I was wondering if you can watch UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) events there. Usually in the states they are on pay-per-view television. Anyone have any experience with this or watching MMA in general in Singapore?

Unfortunately UFC in not shown on a regular basis but it is on now and again (normally well after the actual competition and in the early hours). IFL has a regular slot but this is the basically the only MMA program on TV. You also get 'The Contender Asia' here which is the same as The Contender in US but with Thai Boxing, it's also filmed here so you can go and see the fights live.

Well I know at least for the UFC events you can watch them in real time by paying on Yahoo. I've done that before in the states so I would assume it would work the same in Singapore. But its nicer to watch on a TV than a computer monitor.
