This has been done before....Siglap across from MacDonald's, don't remember the name of the place. Further down from the same MacDonald's, same side, 2 bus stops and you'll see it near the corner. FYI--These are all on East Coast Road.

I couldn't find any recent entries in the forum, so I was wondering if anyone could help. I'm looking for a decently-priced place where I frame pictures and posters. I went to Bras Basah Complex, which was a complete failure. There I could only find places that do quite traditional Chinese framing. I'm looking for a more simple, modern style. Any recommendations?

I usually go to this place in Little India. Its a really small shop that doesn't look too pretty, but they do the job. I always assume that they don't over-charge since its not a fancy shop but i recently stretched two paintings for $48 each (about 1 meter by 1 meter).
You can PM me if you want the name. Or you can google "Framing Little India" and it should pop up.

Get off at Little India, take Exit E and turn right and then right, you should see this
walk for a bit along that road and you should see this

To get there early is on time and showing up on time is late

Yup, thats the one I go. Anyone used them recently? I am just curious if the quoted price is "expat" prices after looking at both of us. The only other place I know is in Ngee Ann City, 4th floor (I think), outside Art Friend. That shop looks pricey and it will probably cost an arm and a leg to stretch 2 paintings.

price sounds alright i think 50$ for a frame, but I could offer my verbal services in chaste Tamil, but that would be another 50$

There used to be at least 3 shops in Holland Village doing the framing but I don't know whether they are still there and don't remember how expensive were their services.

I saw a shop at Blok 468 North Bridge Road, seems pretty reasonable, but not sure if they will charge the "expat" price.
