Hairdresser for Caucasian hair

Post by mrsfingers » Sat, 26 Apr 2008 12:31 am

I have read lots of posts on the pain of finding a good hairdresser for Caucasian hair in Singapore. Well, after much trying (4 salons, 4 dodgy hair cuts) I finally found one. Le Salon in Takashimaya. I recommend the British stylist there, Lawrence Ong Georgiou. The colourist was excellent too (after previous colouring disasters!) They really understood what to do with Caucasian hair. Came out with normal - no, good looking hair afterwards. It's a first!

Very impressed with the service too. Very attentive, seamless flow from arrival to cut to colour. Iced tea/green tea on tap. Done in 2.5 hours flat(compared to 4 hours+ for other places) - AND you can get your nails done at the same time (but do book up-front as I didn't realise this and missed out). Cost $230 for cut and colour (long dark hair/semi-permanent tint). More than some, less than others - but worth every dollar.

I'm actually glad you had a good experience there! That was the first salon I visited when I moved here to Singapore and had an excellent cut but the color was disastrous! (This was 2 years ago so I'm sure they have new people).
