Hello,
I am a 50 year old Englishman residing in France. I was on a 1 year contract with a wholesale company in Spore, which ended early this year. I have grown to love Singapore very much and would like to have a job/career here and settle down here for good if possible.
Apart from that 1 year work contract in Singapore, I have spent the past 8 years looking after my children back in France. I appreciate that employers would see me as a doubtful candidate since I have been out of the workforce for so long, even it is for the sake of my family. However, I would very much like to have a good job and build a career for myself in Singapore which allows me to settle down here, as opportunities in Singapore are aplenty, as compared to Europe.
Education
Degree in Mathematics, Degree in Japanese Language, and Masters Degree in Economics
Work Experience
Over 10 years work experience mainly in FMCG industries in Southeast Asia as Director and VP in Sales & Marketing, Operations as well as Logistics. The 1 year contract I had here in Spore with the wholesale company, I was the Sales & Operations Director.
Where can I look for job opportunities in Singapore? I would be very grateful if someone could advise me and give me some insights.
