Post by ronecross » Tue, 22 Apr 2008 4:59 pm

My first Anzac day up top.
Does anybody know if there would be anything happening for Australian ex-servicemen up here.
I may have returned to Batm by friday, so i need to know whether thetre is omething going on over there or to drag it out and stay here in Sing.
Thanks

There was nothing formally organised in Batam while I was there, although I ended up at Lucy's most ANZAC afternoons.

The High Commission here in Singapore has a morning service if you're interested. Check out their website for further info. Or search these forums, I've already posted the link somewhere else here.

No probs :D

If you want, you could check with Evan at Lucy's [email protected] to see if they have anything organised. He's an Aussie too, and will know if there's any service or events happening.

Roger that guys.
I suppose that wearing a 'Middle East' medal in Indonesia wouldn't be a career move. It looks like Kranji it is.
Thanks.
