Oi. Some very classy people live in Geylang.

Although I 'spect the neighbourhood will go down a bit next week, when I leave town. ;)

Just noticed you'll be working in Suntec. My husband works there too and it takes him ten minutes on the number 70 bus that goes down Guillemard Road.

Seriously, it's a great area, full of character, and you could do a lot worse. PM me if you want more honest details.

Seasider, I though you might pop in on this one sooner or later! I'd obliquely referenced you anyway earlier! :P

And thanks, the small unit disappeared, within 15 minutes, into my daughter's room!

New locations

Post by evant » Thu, 15 May 2008 11:00 am

Ropak
you might probably have reached singapore by now.

you can try tanjong pagar area, which is really stone throw away from your workplace if you have a comfortable budget.
some of the new projects would be "Icon".

Douby Ghout area have a couple of new places as well, which is the tail end of orchard.

A very cool district would be the area of the riverside near Martin Road, Mhd Sultan. its called Robertson Quay. it used to be heavily weighted towards nightspots, but the nightspots have went quiet over the last 2 years and nice restaurants have moved in, with the river environment.
check out around "The Pier" condo.
