Aloha,
I know this is super last minute but i want to go somewhere in thailand (not BKK) - phuket, krabi, koh samui...
any one know of a good travel site?
is it cheaper to fly to BKK (or phuket) then boat to krabi or Koh Samui or should i look for air all the way?
Any help/guidance is much appreciated. Oh btw, i'm looking for the mayday weekend ;-D
semi lost in translation...

Hi, if you are flying to phuket, flights are plentiful, you can fly by budget air
1)
https://booking.airasia.com/skylights/c ... lights.cgi
2)
http://www.tigerairways.com/home/index.php
or you can fly by
3)
http://www.silkair.com/mbe/en_UK/
Silkair operates more daily flights to phuket, so timing is more flexiable.
Flying to Koh Samui is a bit tricky, as far as i know, only bangkok airways provides direct flight from singapore to Koh Samui.

As far as accomdation is concern, there are dozens of website you can chose and compare ... in getting the best deals, 2 that i normally use are
1)
http://www.zuji.com/web/content/splash_index.html
2)
http://www.asiatravel.com/
Hope this helps.

I usually check Tiger and Jetstar for last minute flight deals.
If you're flexible about where to go, and you're willing to fly a couple of days earlier or later than the rest of the crowd -- you can sometimes get good deals even on short notice.
For accommodations in Thailand, we've booked via Sawadee.com and they were pretty ok.
