Hi folks,
In preparation for our move this summer, we are trying to determine if any airlines allow cats in the cabin for flights into Singapore. Has anyone had any success?
Many thanks, as always.
Cheers,
Buck

Pet Travel: Cats allowed in cabin on flights into Sing?
For that length of a flight I really doubt it. I can't imagine having a cat in the cabin for that long flight, the children & babies are bad enough! It goes underneath with all the other 4 legged animals. Quarantine is an issue (for the cat).
They use to a long time ago, but not any more. All you can do is call around to the airlines and ask them about it.

Definitely check with the airlines to determine how to ship your pet and what documentation they will need at check in before you go.
You must also clear this in advance with the AVA here in SG.
Check this site:
http://www.ava.gov.sg/AnimalsPetSector/ ... sPersonal/
According to the Animals and Birds Act:
"No person to import or tranship any animal, bird or veterinary biologics without licence."

Not aware of any reputable airline that allows pets in the cabin for a long haul flight, but the following airlines.org link suggests otherwise:

As they repeatedly say, check the airline websites and contact the airlines if you can't find enough info there.
Best to have a direct flight, if possible.
This might limit your airline choices.
