Hi folks,
In preparation for our move this summer, we are trying to determine if any airlines allow cats in the cabin for flights into Singapore. Has anyone had any success?
Many thanks, as always.
Cheers,
Buck

For that length of a flight I really doubt it. I can't imagine having a cat in the cabin for that long flight, the children & babies are bad enough! It goes underneath with all the other 4 legged animals. Quarantine is an issue (for the cat).
They use to a long time ago, but not any more. All you can do is call around to the airlines and ask them about it.

Definitely check with the airlines to determine how to ship your pet and what documentation they will need at check in before you go.
You must also clear this in advance with the AVA here in SG.
Check this site:
http://www.ava.gov.sg/AnimalsPetSector/ ... sPersonal/
According to the Animals and Birds Act:
"
No person to import or tranship any animal, bird or veterinary biologics without licence."

Thanks much for the counsel and pet travel advice. Based on responses and email traffic, we are now leaning toward sending them as cargo despite their health problems. Regardless, thanks again for the wonderful help from the Expats forum.
