Useful gift for niece moving to Singapore

Post by marinebrat » Mon, 14 Apr 2008 10:27 pm

My 18 year-old niece is moving from the U.S. to Singapore this summer with her family and I am trying to think of a graduation/moving gift that would be useful for her. For those of you who have been living in Singapore or have before, is there anything that comes to mind that fits into this scenario? I'm looking at spending $100-200 bucks.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. They will be living in Singapore for atleast 2 years if not more.

singapore has everything the world can offer (well, minus a bit of this and that like chewing gum, etc). how about a digital photo frame? not exactly something unique but can be useful to put photos of family or places at home.

I can't believe I didn't think of that myself! Thank you so much! She doesn't have one and I KNOW she would LOVE it. :D

Thanks a ton, for some reason I have been struggling with this for over a month now. Nothing came to mind!
