Hello. I need to buy a stroller, price ranging up to 500 $ maybe. Could you recommend any other places beside The first 2 years and Mothercare? My babe is big so I nead smth for Caucasian babies. THX

have you tried any of the departmental stores in the baby section?

There are couple of big warehouse type of shops - try Baby Hyperstore at Kaki Bukit Avenue 1 - they have a big selection

Baby Hyperstore (6844.1123), Baby Kingdom (6547.1677) and Baby Avenue (6253.6678) carry strollers. I'd call them to inquire what brand / model that you're interested in before heading there. They might be worth a visit anyway in case you come across another brand that you like.

Didn't know that you had to buy strollers like shoes. Let's see know, will she outgrow this next year or should I buy a half-size larger to allow for some growth. Oh, with your nick, I wouldn't think a Caucasian stroller would work too well as your nick would seem to indicate that you might be of Indian extraction. Unless you get a stroller designed for your race you could have a serious accident and the centre of gravity won't be just right and you could have handling problems.

I'm not Indian as far as I know. Actually I have a fair skin and hair, that would tell you that I'm Caucasian. I don't know how ab strollers but as for clothes, Caucasians buy Singaporean siza 6-9 months for 3 months sometimes. My babe's wearing socks for 1-1,5 year locals.

Wait till she finds out that all clothes here are cut smaller. I wear a XXL (or did before this diet started) in a local size but only a L at home. I'm no taller than the average SHORT local male. It's not the size of the baby, it's the cut of the fabric. Wait till she buy clothes for herself and finds that all sizes are not created equal.

What sizes do Indians buy? How about Africans? Oh, and apparently you have never been to northern India where there are red haired green eyed Indians. When you buy local clothes (made in China) it's the cut of the material not the size of the baby.

Have you tried "Toys R Us"? We were there (the one @ forum) last weekend, seems them have quite a few choice there.

Natasha, your Peg Perego cannot be too small for your daughter. Mine used it comfortably until 11 months old. And she was just as big as yours. But you can of course try Mothers Work, they have quite a selection of strollers.

I don't mean Peg Perego, I sell it not because of that. I have the other stroller and it is smaller. I just meant I want to buy a new one and asked if any body knows where choice is the best.

Mothercare in Harbour Front (not Vivo City) has wider selection than other branches have
