Teeth Implant

Post by ksl » Wed, 09 Apr 2008 11:32 pm

Anyone know, the cheapest Country for teeth implants...my crown broke, and cannot be repaired, so the tooth must be extracted. I have a heavy bite, and a plate will not last, I've been told many times.

Although at 4000$ a tooth in Singapore for an implant hurts too, I told them it needs to be solid gold, and weigh a good 2 ounce, before i pay that kind of money.

I'd be anxious to hear what you find out. I had a crown done in Singapore as the dentist wanted to put in an implant at +$4K and I just couldn't justify that amount. Now the crown is discoloring and I may need to consider an implant.

I would guess either some place in Bangkok or in Malaysia. I know a lot of parents take their children to Miri for braces. Its a two hour drive from where I lived. I guess I could call and ask them.

I had my crowns done in Taiwan in 2000, at a reasonable price, my front teeth, were ground down in my sleep over the years quite alot and had to be crowned too.

The army took the side teeth out, in my 20's, for no reason, other than it cures tooth ache. :( So all the work is done with my front, now those crowns too, are chipped, a plate is out of the question, so implants look like the only solution left.. I will need quite a few doing, so I'll have to find the cheapest solution. I believe also Taiwan will be better than here..Bangkok is probably cheapest.

I will see what I can find out too and post back!....thanks

Friday! In agony after they operated to take the remains of two teeth from the gum, the pain after the numbness wears off, is pretty awful, and to think it cost 280$, when the price was advertised, 40 to 80$ for extraction, I am told it cost 250 for the extraction :???: and the rest for medication,, some how it doesn't add up...So i will go back and request a detailed bill, and challenge the price difference.

I guess it's because the original teeth are filed down for the crowns, and that extraction maybe needs more work before they can extract, than a full tooth, although it only took a total of 20 minutes. :???:

hi there
you can get implants done by a training institute where it'll be done by trained dentists under the supervision of specialists.
it costs around 3.5k, a little cheaper with very high quality of work.
hope this helps
cheers
