Employment Contract

Post by quidsin » Mon, 07 Apr 2008 12:35 pm

Hi,

I am thinking of moving overseas to work for a different firm. I need to sign my employment contract with them today but am still unsure of whether this is right move or not.

My question is, if I sign their employment contract and then decide I don't want to go, what action can they take, if any, in the event of me deciding not to go.

Any help appreciated.

Thx

Well that really depends on the terms and conditions of the employment contract! If you haven't got those, then I'd suggest you ask for them before you sign anything!

HTH, P
