Hi, I am out of ideas at home with a 6 month old and a 7 year old daughter in school in the hwole afternoon stretch until evenings where everyone else is working. I live in the west but am very mobile. I've been travelling with junior since he was 3 days old for lonely shopping and coffee with cupcakes.
Anyway, tomorrow's public holidays for most kids and was thinking to pop over at Fidgets in Turf City tomorrow (Thur 1 May 2008) in the afternoons. If anyone is interested sms or drop me a call at 9758 4625 for a little gathering and catch up while the kids are playing with some coffee and cupcakes (i hope the cafe sells some).
hugs to all mothers,
M

Hello everyone
Don't know if anyone else managed to get together but I failed to get organised, sorry Cubs and Helen I only saw your message re today just now - anyway how about planning a meet up for next week - how's Mon pm or Wednesday am or pm for anyone else? If you would like to gather at mine you're welcome in the afternoon - hubby sleeping in mornings. Otherwise open to suggestions. Let me know what you think.

Hi Simone, Helen and Sarah,
wednesday seems great. how about going for some chocolates and drinks at Tanglin mall? I only went there in the late afternoons for a drink and i noticed large chunks of chocolate blocks which we can dig in while we're at it. or does any mummy here has a preference for place or location that you've been thinking to try?
We need to confirm the timings, if there's no concern for it how about lunch at 1pm or 2+/ 3PM for a little desserts to share?
Can't wait for it to happen! hear from you soon ladies
Hugs,
May

Ok - So Wednesday pm my place - 2pm. Any others near East Coast or further afield and willing to travel welcome. Helen if you want to bring D's swim stuff - he could splosh around downstairs and we could sit there for a bit. Pretty shady at that time - whatever works. See you then. I'll pm my address to Helen and anyone else who thinks they might make it let me know and I'll do the same.

Hi all
I know this is weeks after you were going to meet but if anyone reads this I am moving to Singapore in July. I have a 2yr (just turned) son and 1yr daughter - will be living on the east coast so would love to meet up with you if you are interested in anyone else joining your group. I am from Australia and thought I would start looking on the forum for some buddies so I am not lonely when I get there!

Hi all,
I'm not sure if it's too late to join you ladies - perhaps in your next meeting? I'm a SAHM with a 6 months old and in dire need of some adult conversations.

Thanks Britchick for my message - yes I need to post more so I can pm you. I will endeavour to do so before I come up so I can message people with details to meet up. We are not sure where we will be living. My husband goes up next week to find a place. We are looking at cote D'Azur or a new place The sea View, Belvedere ? Does anyone reading this live or know muc h about these places ? we are wanting a balcony as my 2 yr old son would go crazy transitioning from our current 5 bedroom house with a massive yard to no balcony. Anyone have any tips on
condos or recommend theirs. thanks looking forward to meeting you and anyone else.

It's usually not taken together. Most classes are by age groups and school level.
