Post by yayapapaya » Thu, 17 Apr 2008 11:56 am

Hey all,
I'm interested in the camping trip too..

Oh.. and by the way, I'll be organising an offshore island trip this sat 19 April 10am (Pulau Ubin)

Just some info here in case you guys are interested..

Hey everyone!

Finally, the Pulau Ubin trip is happening.. this is to fulfil the promise I made to some of you in Feb.. (during the leap year gathering)

I've managed to get some time off from work this sat and we're going Pulau Ubin.. And don't worry about showing up on this event alone.. cos most of us are in the same situation :)

Just show up in your most comfortable gear and we can all explore this offshore island and build new friendships at the same time...

More details as follows..

Event: Pulau Ubin Hiking/Cycling Trip
"Let's travel back in time"

Pulau Ubin is in essence, the last 'kampung' (village) in Singapore. A stroll through Ubin takes you back to Singapore in the 1960's with the simpler pleasures of life.

You may choose to cycle or hike for Pulau Ubin.

Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes for hiking/cycling. You may bring your own bottle of water or you may purchase from the shops on the island.

The Sensory hiking tour only allows a maximum of 15 people. So we regret to inform you that only people who RSVP (by fri 18 April) will be given priority for hiking.

If hiking is not for you, you may choose to cycle. Rental of bicycles are available on the island.

For more info :
