Yes. Look into the back of a spoon. If you think are reaaaallly really good looking, welcome aboard!
2) Are you put through the same interviews as the air stewardesses? AFAIK, the aspiring female flight attendants have to go through a kebaya test, is that right? Obviously, males would look like prats wearing kebayas - do they go through a tuxedo test?
Yes. When I did mine, I walked into the room letting the interviewers see my side profile. I stopped, turned around and said, My name is bond. James bond.
3) Are foreign languages a plus? For me, I have a DELF B1 degree in French. DELF stands for Diplôme d'études en langue française which essentially is the standard French proficiency test, accepted in lieu of linguistic entrance exams around the world.
oui.
4) Do you have to be really tall? For me I just reach SQ's height requirements - which is a measly 165cm
Thats good enough. As long as you can touch the aircraft ceiling on your tippy toes.
Extra tips; develop a look. I call mine, blue steel.

Did you drive the Aston Martin to the interview?

Platz...you naughty man...haha.Just because you drive it does not mean we must too. Good thing you are not my interviewer...haha

hello guys.. I want to be part of the SIA crew team.. I realise that the walk in interview is always conducted on March every year..
is there any other fixed interview months besides the March in-take?
I would like to know also.
but i still have like 3 years more to go to complete my school and NS though..
But its never wrong to know things early right?..
hehe thanks !

may i know how strict are they with in the kabaya round? i am aware that they check on the complexion, how about the teeth? Do they only expect you to smile and they will check, or do they ask you to open your mouth?

just some additional qn regarding the upcoming interview on 28th may 2011
stated in the webby "At least 5 GCE ‘O’-level credits (or its equivalent) including English and working experience"
does workplace literacy and numeracy (WPLN) qualified?
the rankings for workplace literacy and numeracy(WPLN) is level 1-8
i obtained all lvl 5 above which is recongize in some company as O lvls equivalent, just a qn, does SQ recongize this certificate?

This is what i consider a "iffy" situation. Do your preparation. Find a official statement from WPLN or MOM or MOE (whichever is relevant) that level 5 equivalent to "O" levels 5 "O" level credits. On top of that, you should have relevant experience which will be even more important in your case.
There is no harm trying. But realistically, your chances will be higher in a high cabin crew requirement season.
