Hidden costs in moving to Singapore ?

Post by Kryptos » Mon, 31 Mar 2008 4:34 pm

I have browsed through most of the info from MOM in EP, permanent residence, etc.

What I would like to know is if there are any other costs (outside of obtaining the documentation) involved in moving to Singapore. I know that there are large fees to be paid in moving to countries like Australia. Does the same apply to Singapore?

No

The only "fee" I have paid (really my company) was the employment pass application. Dont remember how much. Guess than 20-30 SGD.

No fee for entering the country, not fee for leaving.

Hope this answers your question!

I can's speak to the processing costs however of course you need to consider the different costs of living! We have just moved here ourselves and some costs are higher - in some cases, much higher (like, comparable housing, quality childcare/play programs, cars).
