Rubber-backed kitchen drawer lining

Post by sierra2469alpha » Thu, 27 Mar 2008 2:39 pm

Boys and girls - we were back in OZ recently and my beloved mother-in-law suggested I try to find some rubber-backed kitchen drawer lining, to stop plates etc from moving around, and also to not damage the drawers in our new apartment.

Bless her, she couldn't remember where she had bought it.

I have never heard of such a thing - does anybody know where I might be able to source such a thing, or could you advise what you use to effect the same purpose??

Ta heaps...C & P

home fix sell a rubber bath mat type spongy stuff (technical eh!) on the roll - it's not too pricey and we use it to stop our dogs bowl sliding on the floor so it works :)

Just dropped into the local HomeFix - they had one roll of a product called mega-Living - "The non-slip rug for house, car, and resoration. Resists slipping, washable, cushions and protects". came in a 50 x 150cm roll.

Does that sound like the one? That was basically all HomeFix had.

Thanks!! :(

PS: KSL - do you mean Ikea?

Yes! Sorry I've corrected the error now. We purchased before christmas , it's transparent!
