good place to get acrylic nails done

Post by ozzmum » Wed, 26 Mar 2008 7:37 pm

Can anyone recommend a good place to get acrylic nails done in Singapore? I have been in Singapore for 12 months now an I have tried many differnt places with prices from $45-$100 for a re-fill. amongst those there were a few good ones but they were all so slow! The average time for a refill was pushing 2 hours. I am after someone who is quick, but does a good job is it possible that there is one of those out there?

i think far east plaza 5th floor opposite all the food store there have one shop is not bad cant remember the name but only one nail shop on that side, I did not do my nail there but my friend went there to do the refill, she said is cheaper than elsewhere and dont need to wait, maybe becos of alot of competitor and they locate at high floor lesser people walk pass (also less customer), so their charging is much cheaper than other =P

Can try gel extension or overlay as it is less harmful to our nails compared to acrylic. Really worth giving it try. I am already hooked on it! Recently checked out a good place which does really good gel in the east.. email or pm me if u wan the contact.

I upkeep gel nails in singapore. & I must agree that the infill session is rather agonising, most of them are very slow in their work. I tried a couple of salons. fastest I get is 2 hrs. Most times, its 3-4hrs.

good luck in your hunt!

you can try the one in Ang Mo Kio Ave 6 #01-4208 Artistic Nailz House. The shop is using electric filing and the acrylic nail powder is NFU from Korea. The lady boss is a diploma holder for acrylic nail

And you registered only to provide that information? With such detail no less. That lady boss wouldn't by chance be your boss would it? or better yet, you?

Hi guys, I've seen some pics of girls with really nice acryllic nails recently. I've been thinking of getting mine done, but I'm worried about the mantainance. How do you guys wash your hair etc without the nails coming undone or the design getting spoiled?

How long do acrylic nails last usually if you take care of them? Is there anything you should avoid? :D
