Why not? Going to different airlines interviews just brings you experience. I tried 4 or 5 times for Silkair, 1 time with Qatar Airways, 1 time with Jetstar Asia, 1 time with SIA, before finally getting accepted by Silkair a year after.

Just received the formal invitation by Etihad but there is this statement which makes me uncomfortable about attending the upcoming interview, 'Note: If you have attended an assessment in the past 6 months, you will not be considered for this interview.'
I have attended the previous assessment on 22/11/2007 and its about 6 months so which means I won't be applicable for this round right? However, Etihad has confirmed my attendance? It is quite misleading

Yup i did and hopefully i would get a reply from them soon.
The last interview was held on 22/11/07 at Pan Pacific Hotel. There were about 70 invited candidates and once we reached, were told to reach 214cm w tiptoes. Then came an Etihad career talk on what to expect and cabin crew's responsibility.
As we were all seated in tables of say 10 people so that is our grouping. First assessment is a simple fill-in-the-blank English test then we have to wait for about 45mins before we can proceed to the next assessment - one to one interview. There were 3 items lying on the ground - flower, newspaper and water. We were told to pick one and explain the rationale behind our selection. After this, we had to wait for another 45mins before they shortlist the selected candidates.
I guess only 20 out of the 70 candidates are selected. Then from there onwards, I have no idea? Perhaps, group discussion or maybe more in-depth one to one interview?
Overall, the experience is good because unlike most airlines, Etihad has a very interactive interview manner. The recruiter is also very friendly and regardless of what you have mentioned, she will always give you positive encouragement like brilliant, excellent etc. Etihad is also willing to provide personal feedback and comment about the day's performance via email.

How many were selected for each recruitment??
Less than 20??Their selection more tougher than most other airlines i reckon

This is kind of sad. With so many eateries closing down and counting...years of efforts of building up their businesses just go in vain like this....
