Yes but make sure the shop displays the tax free logo and the reciept is kept and produced at the GST reclaim counter at the airport on the outward journey within two months;

Just curious....as I no longer live in Singapore, but return on a regular basis(about every 6 weeks) due to daughter's braces, can I claim the GST tax rebate?

Yes, if you enter on a SVP stamp in your passport as a tourist, you can claim the tax back.

i checked with the shop today and they do the refund of GST, unfortunately not the full 7% as there's handling charges, etc. nvm, better some than nothing. :)

Like SMS said: Make sure the braces carry the tax free logo! :twisted:

Aren't we funny!! :shock: I couldn't do the braces as we lived in Singers when they were installed. I'm talking about things I can't purchase here...vacuum comes to mind. Boring I know. :wink:

How are things with you Superglide? Everyone settled in your new abode I hope. Cats travelled well?

Yup, all ok. Finally settled down, our belongings arrived last Tuesday (4 months of living from a suitcase isn't that attractive, I tell you), the cat is having the time of her life here, she adapts very well, amazing.

Great job, mrs Superglide loves it here in Amsterdam, so: it's all good. :)

Brunei ok?

Brunei....great place to visit, but wouldn't want to live here (too long). Glad to hear everything has arrived and things are getting back to 'normal'.
