errrrr...... maybe coz you enjoy it! and want to experience something new.

Don't be a knob all your life eh!

Some people enjoy things for just what they are. Some people have to have money before they'll get involved. People vary and I KNOW how excited our little Elska is about doing this so will stand up for her.

(Pit lane pass in the post? )
Don't p*ss me off! I am running out of places to hide the bodies.

Spectators pay to be there.....while i get paid to be there :)

Its a different feeling when you are part of an event rather than just a spectator

Hey elska,

I thought when you say volunteer, it doesn't involve any money at all. Rather it's unpaid labor of love. :)

Well, you can always share the interesting stories.

Hi Asian Geekette,

We will be paid but only a minimal fee for our effort :)

Food and drinks will be provided for PLUS the event gear ;)

But we volunteers usually don't care how much we will be paid cos its not the money that counts but an honour to be part of such an event especially when the sport is your passion :)

The experience is almost priceless :)

Perhaps you can take pictures... Then upload it somewhere. Then share the link. :)

Happy volunteering!

Hi Expidite,

The registration for volunteers have been closed as of 31 Jan 08.

I posted this thread hoping to find people who actually registered for it and got selected.

Should they require more manpower, i will be definitely fill you in.
