I was a product controller with a number of years experience with top tier banks in the UK but left to help my wife's family in Thailand with their business which has taken another couple of years following the tsunami. Now following the birth of my daughter I want to return to the banking game in Singapore.
I know I've been out about 4 years but I reckon my skill set is still valuable and I've operated at every level from trading floor to direct main board reporting across product ranges and business units. I have kept abreast of what has been going on and I've been through some serious scrapes like the Latin American debt crisis, Euro convergence, Y2K, The Turkish Lira collapse and obviously 9/11 so managing the outcome of this latest hiccup will be nothing new.
I know I won't get an expat package but a comparative London salary would be OK.
What are bonuses like out here ?
What is contracting like here as that might be easier to get back in in London.
Any help, comments and constructive criticism are more than welcome.
