Hi all,

Thanks for all the replies. My shop is located along the beach (East Coast) and is currently renovating....I believe my main clientèle will be the uncles and aunties who are there every morning to exercise and of course, people who goes to the beach frequently. Once my shop is ready, I will post the address here and hope to see you guys at my shop. :D Once again thanks.

well i hope he does, otherwise we will never find it! Just do it discreetly like ......in code or,,,, the first part one day and the next part the next day, and the mods may close a blind eye, seeing its your opening day :) !

Wouldn't it be nice to have a full house....better still you should just invite everyone down, for the opening and give them all a discount, just to be customer friendly, you know it may attract quite a few! Just tell them to bring their own cake and you supply the coffee  and you have open house party!

Hi guys,

Thanks for all the support again. Anyway, back to my original question, I searched through the whole ACRA website, called their hotline and went down to the office (at international plaza) to find out whether there is any agency that monitor the name of the shops etc and to my surprise, officers working at ACRA told me that I have to use my company's name on my shop :???:

I double confirmed again with them and sadly the answer is still the same. Now, I am really puzzled :???: Appreciate any form of inputs on this issue again. Thanks. :-|

Why not register your company by the name you'd like your coffee place to be named then ? :???:
(and this way the name check will be done as with any other incorporation)

anyways count me in for the opening party!

Looks like a fair bit of demand for a good quality Italian Barista bar in these forums. Transport one from Milan and I'll be stoked.
