It depends on how severe your acne is, if it is very severe and active all over the face, small ones and big ones with pus all year round.

You might need to see a dermatologist and get it checked out. Because these may cause scarring if not properly treated early. The dr may give oral meds and skin care products.

My husband had acnes and very oily skin. Since we switch to certified organic care(a peace of mind as the certification is a guarantee to organic integrity) his face oil glands are under control and only once in blue moon with a small pimple. His scars are less obvious now. He used the blemish gel from organicteam.

I have a very dry skin condition. I went to so called "customised" facial treatment but it didn't help at all. As I learn to self treat myself with change of diet and go for certified organic skin care, I see a real great difference over the many products that I used and these chemical loaded stuff aren't beneficial to my health and skin in the long run.

Read your ingredients, gals and check with web sites like skin deep, safecosmetics, organicteam, its time we go back to nature where the ancient ladies used. It save me a lot of money as I never need to go to salon for any facial wash. I do my own organic spa at home.

Cheers,

there's a clinic at redhill's that's supposedly the best at that. my friend use to have problems but his skin is great now!

If it is a proper storefront clinic, it's okay to post the details here as long as it's not your own clinic.

I had tried a lot of remedies unless I used Clearly Gone. This product definitely suits your problem as you can see the results as you use it. This is just my opinion as I can feel your pain of being troubled by acne problems and would be happy that someone is relieved by the problem which had troubled me.
Wonder if anyone tried have this clearlygone product?Feedback..

Acne is often a genetically inherited condition for which there is no real cure. Some things I found useful are savlon and pan-oxyl (can't remember if you need a prescription for this). Although pan-oxyl is an oxidizing agent and should not be used at night as it will just burn. Best to leave off greasy food too.

I had acne during my teenage and even today i get it once in a while. There is NO CURE for acnes. Do not waste your money in worthless and expensive treatments. The only thing you can do is to restrict the acne break-out. You can try any medicine with Benzoyl peroxide, but it may screw up your skin by making it dry and sensitive. My friend used Proactiv Solution and he seemed to be quite happy with it. (Though i have seen his skin bit red, dry and itchy sometimes).

However, you can try this inexpensive home remedy which i got from one of my friends. She made it for me and it worked quite well for me.

Take equal amounts of :

- glycerine (you can get it from any pharmacy),
- Rose water (I got it in mustafa store) and
- freshly squeezed Lemon Juice.

Mix all of them in bottle and referigerate it (do not freeze). Clean your face and apply it all over your face. If you feel minor burning feeling thats fine, but if its too much- add more glycerine or rose-water to dilute the solution. You should apply it before going to bed and wash it in the morning. Try for two weeks atleast and I bet that you will see wonderful results - not only a considerable relief from acne, but a wonderful complexion as well. Trust me, its worth trying it. Keep in mind, its not a one time solution though.

One of the biggest mistake we all acne patients do is to wash face all the time which results in aggravating the situation as oil glands secrete more oil. Instead, try to wipe off using alcohol-free or natural toner (like cold Rose water). Also, oily skin doesnt mean that you donot need moisture. its hard to get a good water based moisturiser. Better use pure aloe vera gel (you can get it from GNC or Nature's farm).

Do not forget to thank me after few weeks!!
:D

Go to the dermatologist if it is that bad. Mine prescribed a drug called Accutane that was very effective. That's the only thing I've ever tried that actually made a big difference.

Some information on it here.

I was put on a course of antibiotics, and differin cream. I also did proper cleansing and proper moisturising and toning..

After my acne resolved, I stopped the antibiotics and differin cream. The blackheads come back, but now I do not have acne anymore.. :)

I now do not use toner.

It seems that once acne is resolved, it won't come back again. At least in my case!

Cause acne spreads, if you have mild acne, you will always have acne!

So, once its cured, its gone!

The stuff above will fix the trick. I've seen many with servere acne had it taken away in 3 months. I had problems for 5 years and this stuff cleared it up so quickly. Apparently there is meant to be a side effect of depression.
