Been here since August, but don't work in the downtown core, so only get to meet the people I work with.

Would like to meet up with some people, share a drink, a laugh...just get to know people

You may want to try going to one of the Friday or Wednesday Night Drinking Club gatherings. Info can be found on the events, meeting people, etc. boards.
