maroon 5 concert

Post by adino » Tue, 11 Mar 2008 1:03 am

hey everyone. okay my post is not a significant thing but anyway i was just wondering if anyone going to maroon 5 concert this month. about me, I am 30yo music fan local male. i am intending to watch them perform but i cant find friends to join me. have not purchase the ticket( my own friends dont seem to dig them) perhaps if there's fellow maroon 5 fans who keen to watch and have not purchase the tickets yet, perhaps we could go and watch the concert. there is no catch or ulterior motive for this, period . just a basic having a great time at the concert, it be cool to meet new acquaintances or friends perhaps. if this sounds cool , let me know. otherwise, no pressure (its all good)

Your friends are smart. Maroon 5 are a shit gay band....I'd rather go catch KT Tunstall or We Will Rock You!

Adino,

I didn't delete you other post but I would be willing to bet you were spamming the same message across multiple forums on this site in violation of forum policy.

I would suggest you do some reading of the various stickies before badmouthing moderators on this site. I did delete that post. We have enough problems with commercial spammers. We don't need local yokels posting multiple identical or very similar messages in various forums just using up valuable bandwidth. As you went looking l& posting in multiple forums, most here also do not stick to just as single forum. Therefore most will see your single post to go see a crappy band.

well to those small minded people who are capable of making shallow, narrow minded comments only - if u dont like maroon 5, thats your problem. i like kt tunstall, incubus too. do i make any negative comments towards them , no. i think y'all haters have lack of intelligence, basic capability is to make bitchy comments. if u can rock macho shit better than maroon 5 , go and make a record and do a concert here

mr moderator, sundaymorningstaple whatever. i dont have any intention to spam. i have the courtesy to make a decent post, its not a soliciting post or a desperate attempt at anything, period. if maroon 5 is shitty , what is superior then? please dont make judgemental comment. everyone deserve to be treated equally, irregards expat or locals, whatever race. we dont need snooty attitudes

Well, adino, there is one thing for sure. You sure won't have to worry about anybody on this forum going to a concert with you. Not with the chip you seem to be carrying around on your shoulder.

Seriously, It's okay if you have bad taste in music. Each to their own. If everybody was the same then the world would be a boring place. Think about it. I have.

I've decided that if all bands sounded like maroon 5 I'd take a sledgehammer to all my cd's, tv's, radios or anything else that could produce the noise you seem to think is music. But if you like it, go. Have a good time. Enjoy yourself.

But don't spam similar messages across multiple forums.

adino,

That's a little bit better. As you said, you are new on this board. Usually when people are new they try to learn how things are done in a new place. If they overstep the line, they apologize and we all move on, lesson learned.

Unfortunately, that is not what you did yesterday was it? Your multiple post was deleted by another moderator and you came back in a big huff, spouting all kinds of crap and accusations instead of just asking why it was deleted (which is already posted in the stickies). When people come on rude and arrogant how do you expect people to react? Same with other people's opinions. If you can't stand the music, go to a different concert yeah? Everybody has their own opinions regarding music so why should you go off in a rant because two readers voiced their opinions?

Anyway, let's just move on. Lesson learned okay?

So anyone is going for the Maroon 5 concert? One of our friends have to bail out due to work commitment, so will be good if someone is keen to fill up the seat.

I went to the concert last night and it was a big disappointment. The band was quite good and Adam Levine had good stage presence. The problem was that they were onstage for just 75 minutes! It was the shortest big name concert I've ever been to in my life (and I've been to lots of them). That works out to 2.50 for every minute as I bought the top price tickets.

The upcoming Elton John concert should be good. I think it's just him and his piano (no band). I saw this concert a few years ago in Hong Kong and even though there's no band, it was very entertaining...almost 3 hours, no break and all hits....well worth the cost.

I think everyone was disappointed. Today's papers also have an short article about their 80 mins concert... i feel quite rip-off actually. Plus, they actually said that it will be a great party during their press conference in the day...

James Blunt is coming in May, and it seems like their Premier tickets (those 4 sections) infront of the stage are already sold out! Is it even possible? Or are they merely reserved for "special" individuals...
