its a tough tough job la..
my bf's dad has juz retired from this job..

it's super stressful + u work in a super dark and cold room.. juz watching radars on a screen.. juz green blinking dots..

plus.. it is a must to be able to deal with the stress of controlling many many planes - equates to having to bear the responsibility of 1000 over lives in ur hands lei..

and muz have shift work :)

in SG work timing is like.. cycle of afternoon shift on day 1, 1pm - 8pm.. den day 2, morning shift of 8am - 12noon... and day 2 night shift of 8pm - 8am of day 3..

den day 3 off.. day 4 off.. den day 5 back to afternoon shift.. and the cycle goes on.. even on PH.. :)

yuppies.. and now i dun tink it's totally under govt.. so no more pension scheme to alk abt :P

hmmm... but caas did come to our sch for talks and the brochures says control tower. :) either seletar or changi. but there are 2 streams to choose when u go for air traffic controller training. so it depends on which stream u want :)

hees! they came to our sch once. haha! i rmb onli 1 of the stream allows you to work in the airport! haha! but your bf's dad must be v li hai de la! haha
