Washing soft musical toys

Post by natalyakir » Sat, 08 Mar 2008 8:04 pm

Hello, mummies. Sos! How do you wash soft musical toys? I washed one (surface wash) and music doesn't work now! I used baby soap and didn't put in in water. :-|

Hi,

I am not the best person to give advice as I am no brilliant house wife, but I do know that my mum always undid the seam on the toy and removed the music box before washing. Of course she sewed the seam up again before washing then once it was dry she would undo her stitches and put the music box back in. But i guess things these days are not made to last as long as I always find that the toy dies before it needs washing!
