Re: Online Bookstore for Sale!

Your dreaming, that's for sure! If I wanted to buy, i would buy from Amazon, why pay you? Your 2 month old business looks like a sham to me....how can you build a online business in 2 months? Even in 2 years for that matter...especially when Singaporeans hate to pay by credit card online!

Sorry to disappoint you, but people do really need to be careful!

We have already a lot of satisfied customers and we are happy to provide references for all interested buyers.

Also, the technology incorporated into the website can easily costs SGD3000.

This is serious business and not a scam.

Your website is nothing........all you have is a direct link to amazon, your an affiliate! Your website cost 60$ at most, and Amazon have the software in place not you. Your just trying to pull a fast one, on unsuspecting people. You have nothing to offer at all! Amazon has everything to offer, through the shopping link. Your a con artist, and not even a good one! You need to look at your ethics, before you end up in trouble, there are laws against what you are trying to do!

I appreciate your genuine opinion. However, we act as an agent to gather orders, resulting in cheaper shipping cost for all books.

Yes, we get our books from Amazon. But what we are offering is a cheaper way of shipping it to Singapore. And it costs a lot of money to extract the data from Amazon (which is legal)

I respect your views, but please let others who are interested best decide for themselves.
I think if you have a genuine business working, and that you have been online for 2 months, it is in the interest of everyone, how you are generating your revenue.....Lets be honest here, the bookstore is not yours to sell.

If you are selling the logistics side, then fine, that's what you should be selling...although your facts are not quite right, it's about transparency, and in my opinion, your business is not proven to be successful, yet, you are trying to get someone to hand over 4000$.

Not only that, you have also not read the rules of the forum, advertisements go in the classified section, by coming into the forum, you are asking to get ripped apart, by people with with business education behind them too, and this is a debate, to find out, how your business is worth 4000$.

So if it's not the bookstore, but the transportation of books, how is one going to make money.

Really your idea is not realistic, it's theoretic and speculative, with no substance of survival in the long term.

I'm interested, because if you have a good business idea, that works, I will buy it! You say the software is worth over 3000$ who's software?

You cannot sell software and backoffice, that isn't yours, and which is normally given free, from amazon.

I'm just trying to find out what you are actually trying to sell for 4000$, because If it is worth the money, i would buy it? But at the moment, you have nothing more than a website at a cost of X$?

This has really been done, more times than my ex wife....It is a good way to speculate, but first you need to build the hits, for your website, this is the most important factor, for selling a website on.

Very experienced online marketing business people, make money, by building a website, and increasing its exposure, not even doing business, just networking with thousands of people, and they only charge around 40 or 50 $ for the website..that is a website, with hits.

All affiliate work, is so unreliable, and most do not even pay out...the only thing that does happen, is the main distributor gets exposure, you the website host get nothing..buyers will always opt, to buy direct, and not buy through your website.

Your hope that many people buy through your business, so you get the shipping discount from Amazon, is flawed, Amazon is clever, they know, they only need you for the exposure.

Of course if you can produce people to your website, 1 in a 1.000 may buy if you are lucky. the other 999 will leave your website and go direct to Amazon...

This has been going on for very many years, Amazon scores both ways, because books are always cheap.

I mean even in Popular Singapore you can get 50% and 60% discount on many books. Convince me!

Please don't look at this discussion negatively, because there is much you can learn from a discussion, a sparring partner in business is a good thing to have. Normally one would pay a consultation fee, for the same  Think of it as positive criticism!

I feel that you are thinking that you are smart, and like to criticise other people.

I don't think it is best to continue arguing with you. There are aspects of this business that I believe you may have missed.

Nevertheless, I do receive emails from interested buyers.

Mods please delete this thread!

Thanks

That is exactly, what i am looking for, the parts i have missed.
Even the goodwill must be worth 4000$ right, like i said, if i can see, the goodwill or potential, I would be prepared to show interest myself, because it would be something i can build on.
