Hello all,
I will be relocating to Sg later on this year, and am gathering as much information as I can as early as I can. The common theme in any threads relating to property rental is that it's expensive!! I'm not sure what my budget is for rent at the moment, but I would like to keep it below SG$7k per month if possible.
My wife and I are looking for a 2-3bed apartment/condo in a good location. Ideally we would like to be within walking distance to shopping/bars/restaurants/MRT. From reading previous threads, districts 9, 10 & 11 seem to be the most popular, particularly for the expat community? And advice/information on any of Singapore's districts that may fit my hopefully realistic expectations above would be much appreciated!!
We are also planning a trip before November to come to Sg to have a nose around. Does anyone have any thoughts on when would be a good month to travel? Also, can anyone recommend a good hotel? I don't know anything about the Sg hotel industry - is there a star rating level that I should aim towards for a clean spacious hotel in a central location?
Look forward to hearing back from anyone with any info!
