I would like to meet up with others trying to learn Chinese and practice among ourselves, beginners could be encouraged that there is hope and learn a few more phrases and more advanced types could simply pratice. Definitely worth a try in my view.

I have found one kind person with a compatible schedule for a language exchange; I definitely have the need for more practice because once a week is not enough (week days are best for me ) ... Thanks all

Hi, this is Amy. I am really wondering ... do people prefer to learn Chinese 1-to-1 or learn at language school?

Hi, I'm Christine Chin here from Malaysia. I'm currently a final year university student (age 23) staying at Jurong West area.

I would like to make friends who are from english native-speaking country. I'm willing to share my knowledge on mandarin, cantonese and bahasa Melayu in exchange that you can teach me to communicate well in English. I could speak good english but I would like to improve on my pronounciation and spoken english.

If you are interested to be friends, u may email me at [email protected]. Thank you.

Regards,
Christine Chin

hi andrew, hw good is your mandarin?
i'm pretty fluent already, definitely fluent reading but don't practice my speaking. trying to find some ppl for conversation practice. i think it's easiest if it's not on an exchange basis but just meeting up as "friends" and talking random stuff... but of course we'd need to be roughly equal level.

I am willing to exchange with you

Hey, I also want to improve my Mandarin. I am an advanced beginner, I know around 100 characters and want to go on studying them.
I'm not looking for an exchange, just lessons. I would like someone who has a bit experience in teaching Mandarin as I know how hard it can be to teach a language. I want to emphasize on conversation. Cannot afford a professional teacher as they are too expensive. I would like lessons Saturday morning for 3 hours. I live in Tiong Bahru.
If anyone is interested, please email me at: [email protected]

Cheers! :)
