Electronic Picture Frame

Post by Bafana » Sun, 02 Mar 2008 8:41 am

Anyone know much about Electronic Picture Frames and wnat to share?

Am visiting my parent soon and want to give them one crammed full of picture of my daughter (see I am in touch with my feminine side  ).

How big? What brand? Where to get? Best value?

An East Coast or Central location would be appreciated.

Thanks

BTW I deleted some picture of my hard drive anyone know how to get them back?

go to sim lim and you will get lots of choice of digital picture frame. some ultra advance digital picture frame can even be uploaded remotely via the internet.

as for deleted files on hdd - you need to get software to undelete them.

Baf,

Try this little program.

I have been using the PC File Recovery Software successfully for a long time now. If Smart Recovery is as good it'll do you up just fine.

I've been using Ceiva for over 4 years now. They are the originator of the Digital Picture frame. Both my Father and my Mother have one and we update just by uploading on the internet site. I can control how often, when to turn on/off the unit, how often it should dialup to download net photo. recycle old photos held in a online database.

Don't know if there is one that is available outside of the US however. As above, there are lots that use SDcards and the like so it's almost take you pick. Saw a lot of them in Best Denki yesterday at VIVOcity as well.

Have you actually emptied the recycle bin, if not they may still be there! Many people believe, that they have deleted, when all they have done is send it to the recycle bin.

A standard one could be for free if you make it by yourself using some already disposed materials (partly burned matches and recycled glue from old poststamps for example). A digital one as low as SGD10. Feel free to ask more general questions.
