Surfers Unite!!!!!!!!!

Post by SingaporeOrBust » Thu, 28 Feb 2008 6:19 pm

OK i used to live in Sydney and I am alright at surfing not great but would love to pick it up again and travel with some people that enjoy this same common interest. I got good group of people here but NONE of them surf which is a shame so poking them to go on surfing trip, lest say its not working out.

Where are the surfers at? Missing the waves, i hear you can get out of town and back for a surf weekend for about 200 bucks if you can plan it out right.

ideas?

Where can you go for a surf weekend for about $200 bucks? I know you can go to bintan to kite surf, but you are not referring to kite surfing right?

From what I know, there aint many places with waves to surf around asia (maybe Bali), but correct me if I am wrong.

Hi - I've just pick up surfing last year. Loved it and would like to get together with some surfers here. Phuket and Bali are probably the closest spots to catch some waves.

heya, if anyone's planning a weekend surfing trip, count me in! Give two weeks notice though so I can plan ahead as I can't take off that easily from my job. :)

so yeah, i got quite a bit of experience but still pretty crappy, doesn't stop me from mounting a board though. :D

other than Bali, someone told me you can surf in Koh Samui (Thailand). Then of course the Philippines has a lot of world-class surfing spots as well.

so well, why don't we all get together sometime and plan something in the next couple of months or so?

Never surfed before but i've always wanted to give it a go. Was intending to have my first try at the end of the month in Bali but the trip got canned. Bummer.

If there are plans to go head to somewhere to surf, i'm interested.
