I come from Hong Kong but I am now working in USA. My company just offer me around SG $120,000 per year working in Singapore. Is it good enough living in Singapore? I have a 11 years old daughter and my wife with me. Which International School good for my daughter? I would like her switch to local school later. Which local school good for her? Where the rent is cheaper for 3 room? Thanks.

Not that easy to select a school even for PR, normally long waiting lists, with locals getting priority, I hear it helps to kowtow, or contribute to the school, whatever that means.

we travel a good 5 mile, even though, their is a school 25 meters away, which we chose, before buying property, thats over a year now.

If you rent HDB your rental rates swing between 1500$ to 2000$ for 3 bedroom, closer to 2000$ in good serviced areas. We take advantage of the extra English tuition by native teachers and other facilities of education, not cheap, but better in some cases, than local teaching of English.
