Where to live between Woodlands and CBD

Post by north » Wed, 27 Feb 2008 6:21 am

Hi - my wife and I will be moving to Singapore from NYC in a few months. I will be working in the CBD and she will be in the Woodlands. We'll probably want to be in an area where a decent amount of expats live (and some w/o kids - like us). Any people on here in a similar position, that can recommend areas in between? Thanks in advance...

Maybe try a couple of the condos around Toa Payoh. Don't live there myself but it's on my list of possibles if i get kicked out at the end of my curretn lease. There is good facilities, transport and quite a few expats already although not a LOT.

Thanks for the recommendations. Can you give a little detail about the area(s) you recommend? Best,

Well I personally think it's much better to stay in Bukit Timah or Bukit Panjang area. The location is much better as the traffic there is not that congested compared to Toa Payoh, Bishan during the peak hours. Its furthermore more accessible to Woodlands and the CBD area by the highways.
Hi there!..
