Well, be thankful you have power in their room!! The room designated for a helper in our complex doesn't have an outlet-- which makes me wonder what the neighbors' helpers do.. :???:

Hi all
Matilda, the original 'poster' here.

Just to let you all know how things ended up here.

Unfortunately, after all this, our landlord denied permission to put a cable point into her room so no cable! She seems to be happy without it though.

We had the tagalog language channel put onto the television in the living room, and she has been watching that and also watching television with us sometimes at night - american idol mainly. She watches with us and sometimes she goes to her room. It's a nice balance.

She is also watching dvds and is deeply engrossed in '24' at the moment. :P :o :shock:

So alls well that ends well.
