Electrical Appliances - disposal

Post by BandA » Fri, 22 Feb 2008 6:14 pm

Our microwave stopped working properly and so we ended the debate about what sort of benchtop oven we should get by replacing it.

So now we have a microwave to dispose of. I'm pretty sure that if my Dad were here he'd take it apart and fix it - it sort of works a little - so I'm reluctant to just throw it in the dump. What can I say? I was brought up to reuse and recycle.

My question is: is there anywhere in Singapore that would do this sort of thing? I'm not after any money. If not, where do I take it?

Cheers,
B

Possibly the Karung Guni man will take it. He's the guy who comes around buying old newspapers and any sort of appliances or Electronic gear that is being disposed of.

Cheers. Will try and track the local one down. Sounds like the best bet.
