destination for romantic weekend trip in malaisia/indonesia

Post by wiedi » Fri, 22 Feb 2008 4:29 pm

Hi,

Ms right is coming to visit in a couple of weeks and I'm in desperate need of a nice romantic destination for a weekend trip. I doubt that a week end hanging out at clark quay/boat quay will bring me closer to the altar so I was hoping anybody knew of a romantic place to go in malaysia/indonesia for a weekend. Preferably a place with some activities available so that she does not get too tired of me :-)

any tips would be much appreciated!

What about Banyan Tree Bintan? It seems very romantic!

Bintan - Try Banyan Tree or Indra Maya

Nikoi Island which is a bit of a trip, basically behind Bintan.

Bali - two hours away - look at www.elitehavens.com, or some wonderfull hotels and it is the island of the gods for good reason

Phuket is two hours away....

etc etc....
