to be honest, i am not sure if you can get such a business started anywhere.
sure thing texas holdem poker is real popular, but nowadays it is real cheap to buy your own pokerset (casino style chips, and some kind of cover for the table). i think the most critical issues in organising such an event is finding the right place where you can sit down and play with over 10 people. so as long as you are not providing that, i actually have my doubts. but that's ofcourse just my opinion

First of all you would need to get a gambling license. So far only two have been given out for card games. One for each of the upcoming Integrated Resorts. Anything else is illegal gambling and we do not support illegal operations on this forum. Guess this is the end of the survey.

the people I know who play, throw a velvet cloth over a table and get busy.....pizzas and drink laid out on a help yourself basis.....

if you want to do this maybe bringing in quality chips/cases of chips and maybe properly designed table cloths or tables. There seems to be non of this available in Singapore. You could go further and bring in decent backgammon sets and the like (ultraviolet snooker balls?)

thats my 5cs

cheers
