Baby's feet is cold and sweaty

Post by co77ee » Sun, 17 Feb 2008 11:41 pm

My baby is four months old and i have done away with mittens and socks, but I am very concerned as his feet is often cold and sweaty! Is there something wrong? I wonder if it's the humidity here but I doubt so. I am thinking of putting the socks back but weather's too warm!

Anyone has any idea what may cause the cold and sweaty feet?

Thanks a lot!

I remember the "temperature gauge"in babies at this young age aren't working perfectly yet. They can't regulate their internal temperature as efficiently as adults. Some babies are also just more sweaty then others. Both my girls are since a young age; mainly because they were born in cold countries and slept in air-conditioning all their lives so they break into a sweat when its slightly warm.

It will soon pass as they grow older.
