We then did a group exercise. We were told to discuss amongst ourselves what charitable organisations we would like to donate to.

After that, we were given 2 written tests which involved calculations, macam problem sums. Calculators were provided. The tests were not too difficult, not calculus as posted on this forum during the last recruitment, but there was atime limit.

The whole session went quickly. Didn't feel like 4 hrs. Even though i didn't make it through, it was a good experience. Hopefully i get to experience it again!
Wah... i went through one of the previous thread on BA recruitment and saw stuff like A Math qns, Chemistry, Physics were tested and such..
Almost fainted..... Do we have to write out the formulas for the math qns or is it MCQ...? TIA...
Now i know why it takes 4 hrs...... :D
Hopefully we all make it through.. and even better be in the same grp.. hahaha :D

They were MCQs.

I've learnt not to believe everything posted in the forum, esp during the last recruitment when someone also said BA wanted us to translate ridiculous words like chinese herbs during the language proficiency test!

I'm just hoping for the best but prepared for the worst now.

Fingers and toes crossed!!

well no idea, prolly they want their crew to be able to like an all rounder and think fast on their toes. So they can appear to be very knowledgeable and not ignorant when working in the frontline ^^

That person who posted on that last BA Recruitment thread was throwing us off and making us panic. But thankfully there isn't any such sabotage in this current BA Recruitment thread.

Probably somebody with the that ridiculous mindset 'that if I give false information then I can put others off and have more chance myself'. Some people will stop at nothing, you are quite right Flippin.

Do you get to know the result right after the 2nd interview or still got to wait ? Is the 3rd interview just a medical or more tests and questioning?

if i remember correctly, you'll get to know the results on the spot.

the last round is a 1-1 interview. after which you go home and wait for them to contact you. for the final round, i think they'll notify you even if you're not successful... by snail mail.

hope that helps! :D

hmm.. any idea how is it like for the 1-1 interview? What they ask? Is it like the usual interview questions Eg. Tell us about yourself? Where do you see yourself in 5 years time? What are your strengths and weakness?

not so sure about this, but should be those usual questions... should be just like a chat, if you're worried then you can go and read on BA's history and etc to prep yourself a bit more...

Don't know what questions they ask during Finals as i didn't make it past the 2nd stage but i believe it's 2 to 1, not 1 to 1, as posted in the previous BA Recruitment thread.

I believe all aspiring FAs have applied with different airlines or are applying with several airlines at the same time. Just out of curiosity, which is your most preferred airline to work in and why? I'll start first...

SQ - permanent contract, varied destinations & based in Spore
CX - permanent contract and i love HKG & based in Spore
BA - great company culture, based in Spore but temp contract
Ethihad & Emirates - permanent contract but based overseas
