oh,, felt sad as my aunt is a senior flight attendant in Cathay pacific don't wanna mention her name but if someone here came/worked from the cathay also, you know who she is, she died last october she became alcoholic and some say no one knows why she became like that as she is one of the best. just want to thank cathay pacific for paying my aunts full medication and not leaving her just like that.

Just to answer the question about Cx recruiting Singaporeans for HK based.I think the policy now is to recruit girls from other asian countries.Just like the early days remember 8 different nationalities as cabin crew?

I guess they will NOT be recruiting anymore Singaporeans for HK based.Please use your imagination to come to a conclusion why this is so.Suffice to say they are looking for the 'gracious oriental charm' which is more forthcoming from those counties mentioned above.

Only Sin based for Singaporeans.

Btw Sophia888 sori to hear about your lost.Your aunt was Singaporean SP?
And I agree Cathay, is the most responsible and comitted employer with regards to crew welfare.A shinning example to her rivals.

yeah, Cathay did all their best to see if my aunt will be able to overcome her disease but medication can't do any better for her. I really thanked them for being very responsible as my aunt did serve them almost more than 10 years of her life.. no she isn't singaporean.

i have a friend who is ex china airline.. her ex manager checked and said.. CX might be recruiting in june.. so just keep a lookout in sat's strait times.

CX recuritment likely hood could be mid of next year...
usually after SQ somehow...jus a rough gauge...
but most likely is SIN base recruitment.
As they no longer recruit singaporeans to be based in hkg.

seriously i have been waiting and waiting for cx to recruit again, San Fran's based is currently on recruitment now, i wonder are they coming to singapore soon?

oh and does any body knows if they hired singapore PRs? My best friend is an indonesian PR here.
