Firstly i would like to congratulate those who got in for the previous intake!

Emailed my resume to Cathay Pacific on the last day of the dateline which was on the 8th of Jan and received the invitation after 12 hours.
My interview will be on the 13th of Jan 2015, anyone else going too?
I'm so excited but afraid at the same time.

I have a few questions like:
1) What is the average number of candidates that will attend the interview?
2) Are there a lot of male candidates? Ratio of men: women?
3) Attire to wear? I'm prepared to wear a Suit. Will i be overdressing?

Much appreciated if past candidates can also give me some good tips and advice! Thank you so so much :D
P.S. I'm a Male candidate

Hi Neekaluz,

Congrats on you being selected to join the upcoming intake of the interview.the averge no wld be abt 20 to 30 candidates for each session and majority are females compared to males.

You don't have to be overdressed, just a formal shirt with a tie will do. The most important thing is to be yrself and do your best.. All the best!!

Hello neekaluz! How was your interview today?

Yesterday there were a total of 3 sessions with 30 people in my session. It was basically registration and then arm reach before heading into the room of 4 round tables with 10 seats per table. Only 3 tables were filled. Then it started with an introduction by Margaret followed by a topic for everyone of us to discuss so we will be more at ease. Then it was the group discussion for all of us at the table to discuss, after discussion all of us will have to present and mention what we have written on the mahjong paper. At the end of it all, all of us were given the yellow paper. :)

Hopefully we get notified of the good news soon!

Hello Suify,
I'm glad that you shared your experience with us!
My interview was pretty much the same but there were only 11 people, 2 males(including myself) and the rest were females. We were separated into 2 groups which each only filled half a table. The activities i went through today was exactly the same as yours. :D

I panicked and blank out while i was presenting  But thankfully i didn't blank out for that long

Hope we get notified by them soon! The suspense is killing me ](*,)

Goodluck!!! :D

Congrats all! I just got an email for my second round too! Does anyone know what do we need to prepare for the second round interview? What time is your interview? :) All the best!

How about the package as a Cathay Pacific cabin crew? How long is the bond?

When did you interview and what time did you receive the email? Thanks in advance

This is the interview process by FlyGosh. kinda outdated though, 2011. But you'll get a rough idea.

Hi intoxicat! I believe everyone here has got their interviews scheduled on 16th January, correct me if I'm wrong guys! Neverthless, try again if you really like CX! I believe the company is a good place to work in, provided you are looking at career progression/staying in this airlines industry for long! :)
