Magaret did mention to me that this time there will be sin - hk and there will be night stop there for 2 nights. Anyway good luck to all of you!
Hi Paige,
Btw can you roughly tell us how much is the pay for CX?
can you tell me about the pay as well? many thanks
No. Most Cathay flight crew have which languages they speak on their name tag, and not all list Mandarin. From what I recall (as a frequent flier MP Diamond), about 50% speak Mandarin, 25% Cantonese, then 25% something else. (I've seen Indonesian, Korean, Japanese, etc). That "something else" has to be useful though I'd imagine.Afi Zeruel wrote:For Cathay Pacific, is it a MUST to know Mandarin language ?
Is it Required..?
No they're only recruiting from HK as of now. The thread that you read should be from 2006 or 2007. I saw it too. Check their website and you will see they only want to hire people with HK citizenship currently.michelle.chng2585 wrote:Is Cathay still recruiting SIN based flight attendants? I read the thread and found out that we can send an email to them at [email protected] is that right? Also what do i need to include in the email?
Thanks for the reply mkisses! Sigh.. What other airlines are SIN based and hiring as of now..any idea?mkisses wrote:No they're only recruiting from HK as of now. Scoot had their recruitment just about 2 weeks ago. According to news, they will be holding another one in March. So maybe you can check out their website occassionally.michelle.chng2585 wrote:Thanks for the reply mkisses! Sigh.. Tiger has had their last interview about 3 weeks ago too.
SQ also having another mass recruitment in April.
Other than that, Jetstar is always recruiting. You can email to them your resume. Email is found at their website.

That's nice! Do share with me what they have k? I missed all the datelines cos i wasn't paying much attention to the recruitment drives. I am thinking of trying SQ again.. Just worried that if i don't get in now then it will be too late >"< Don't worry, i am sure you will do just fine! I'll root for you!!mkisses wrote:I got into scoot from the recruitment they had 2 weeks ago. Was thinking if I fail scoot, I'll try SQ. But if it's medical problem, then I guess I'll get the same results whichever airline I try.
You went for SQ before? Scoot was the first airline I applied for, since I just graduated haha. Wanted to try SQ but had something on the day they had their previous recruitment.michelle.chng2585 wrote:That's nice! Do share with me what they have k?
