In Singapore, unlike many other countries in the world, you can bring your own wine in a restaurant. A corkage fee is applicable and vary from place to place. It can be very usufull if you wish to drink expensive wine, but can't pay the restaurant price. Out of courtesy, it is also good to buy at least a bottle from the restaurant if you bring your own. They also run a business!
