Hi all. Great forum -- very informative and constructive.
I have 2.5 years experience in Bangkok teaching Business English and Corporate Skills training and have done some standardized test teaching as well. All of my teaching experience to date has been in an EFL environment.
Thailand has been fun, but based on previous visits, I see Singapore as a much more desirable place to live.
I will be in Singapore Feb. 21-23 on a job hunting trip. What are my best options?
I've read the warnings about language schools (does that include Inlingua, Wall Street, Kaplan, Berlitz?), but am not certain what else might be available for me.
I don't have teaching quals, only a TEFL and an M.A. in Film Production (with extensive and wide-ranging production experience).
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Have a great day!

Business English Course in Singapore: Try Globalizasian Pro
If you wish to teach Business English Courses in Singapore, you may also wish to contact Globalizasian Pro, a language and cross-cultural training company. This company provides Business English training for both individuals and corporates. They are also into accent reduction/accent neutralisation for business executives and call centre agents. Apparently they provide business English writing and Business English Public Speaking courses as well.
Not sure how much they pay their teachers, you can check them out: www.globalizasianpro.com
Good luck mate!
